All bad jokes aside, what do ya’ll thing of Tesla’s new cybertruck? Its been out for a while now which means i began this sketch back in November…i dunno
On a side note now that the initial FiM series ended decide to begin a side series of mostly sketches/conecpts/just art in general that were done and never released here on top of my full art pieces.
What do you guys think should i continue these ’Pony Bytes” sketches or what?

It true
And yet still can’t beat a regular Ford.
Oh indeed, I’ve just never been a car person so sometimes I feel left out. To me, when people talk about cars I feel about the same as some people do when I talk about computers.
Knowledge of how cars work should never stop one from making an analogy to computers!
Not long after the world was to get a ranger based raptor already had tuning companies create their own ranger based raptor for north America or the rumor tuning companies had offered a V8 swap for the bronco which at the time wasn’t on sale yet. With the few including Hennessy performance know they won’t be the first to build a 6X6 raptor when more requests to shoe-horn a triton V10 between the frame rails.
I would have got a V8 but the gen 2 Raptor was only available as a V6. I still really like mine though. Last big purchase I made.
Fair enough. The F-150 is basically considered the gold-standard of trucks here in NZ, ever since manufacturing of Holdens ended in Aus and the Japanese automakers dropped the ball on their trucks as well (Korean trucks are considered niche, and Chinese trucks have the usual reputation that Chinese brands have). If they can afford it, most rural contractors and farmers would get one, especially the V8 variant. They’re expensive here because they have to be converted to RHD to be registered as commercial vehicles on NZ roads.
Honestly not bad. It’s responsive and extremely quick for being a 6,000 pound truck. The lack of that signature V8 rumble though is very noticeable.
What’s the performance like with that?
My Raptor has a Twin Turbo V6.
Wait, they released F-150s that aren’t V8s?!
I wish I could upgrade mine to the proper V8.
With the recent article of the F-150 raptor now getting a V8 after FCA had a hellcat powered rebel TRX out for a while. With princess celesta believing she heard of the article on how easily the tesla cyber-truck’s windows were easily shattered.
Based and boogalooterianpilled.
It gets roughly the same mpg as the old V8 did. The V6 is more powerful than the gen 1s V8, but it lost that glorious rumble and overall quality of sound that the larger engine had. If they had a V8 option in the gen 2, I would have gone with that, but sadly Ford didn’t make one.
That’s cause you put a small engine in a big truck. Ram never learned that lesson to not do that
So I’m not the only one who thinks it looks like a DeLorean.
And that’ll fit? Assuming you tuned it to remain performance focused true to the Raptors intended purpose, I think your mpg would go negative, lol. I have a Gen 2 with the V6 and barely get 11mpg.
I can pull one out of an old f250 since they had the option for a 10 cylinder engine instead of an 8 cylinder gas engine lr 8 cylinder Diesel engine
I would actually like to see that one day
Lol
