Burning Star is a kind and caring mare she has always loved watching eclipse once in a years with her mother and have learned to control fire with her father and brother but most importantly she love with all her heart her family  
but her life change when she was 4 years when they came to visit their grandfather endeavor burn the eyes of his brother and this one became blind she tries her best to comfort his brother but this one reject for not being a monster just like him  
not knowing what to do she decided to talk with the star she created a flame with her paws and prayed for her brother to believe in himself and retrieved his brother who always smile in the past 9 Years later she noticed her brother was smiling again she turned her head  
to look at her flank a notice a light forming after a second the light faded away and a cutie mark appear that at that moment that she understood her wish was granted and what her talent was she discovered she can make pony happy by making ball of fire and that those can transform into wish star that can change their life forever
