Ki is not magic. This is a canonical fact stated in the manga and anime. Ki is a natural energy all living things have. Tirek even has Ki.
 
But yeah, Cell wins. I’m sure a Kainzan/Energy Disc or two would be enough to take out Tirek.

Cell wins, he shouldn’t have even lost against Gohan. On paper he is one of the strongest DBZ villains. Tirek only stands a chance IF he can absorb Ki like magic, which he really shouldn’t be able to. Even so, Cell could just blow up Equestria.

Cell wins. It’s not even a contest.

really guys? really? cell at his strongest is possibly a solar system buster, while tirek at his strongest can destroy cities, doesn’t really help tirek all that much that magic and ki are two different things, so his magic drain ability won’t do jack shit. i mean it’s bad enough for tirek that cell is stronger and faster than tirek(okay arguing about who’s stronger i get, but you must really stupid if you’re going to argue who’s faster)but since tirek is a city to mountain buster at his strongest, while cell is a solar system buster at his strongest like i already said, cell could literally just stand there and let tirek blast as much as possible and it won’t do anything at all, honestly the only way tirek will be able to hurt cell would be with that telekinesis throw he used on twilight, but that’s work either, since cell’s gone through way, WAY worse than that, if anything the best it will do is catch him off guard, and one final thing to say to this: cell is way durable than tirek, so a weak punch from cell will probably a massive hole in tirek, meanwhile if tirek hit cell he’d probably break every bone in his arm. also if cell wanted to, he could just absorb tirek and add tirek’s very pathetic power to his own, but i doubt he’ll do that. sorry mlp fans, but in the mlp universe tirek may be the closest thing you’re get to god, but compared to cell, he’s just another weakling who thinks he’s hot shit.

Ki in DBZ is a manifestation of one’s physical energy. It can be shaped to be used in some ways like a sword, shield or just a blast, but it’s all physical. While he’s a horibly weak person Bibidy was the strongest magically capable person we see in DBZ. He was weaker then even Yamcha at the start of Dragon Ball.

every foe is weak at some point XD at one point, freeza was like god and feared around the verse and some episodes later and goku is a freaking god XD and can kill freeza with a sneeze lol I wonder what will come after god mode XD

Energy blasts thrown around during the Saiyan and Namek arcs, yes, but this is Perfect Cell. The Cell Saga was around the time when the power scale in DBZ started going beyond most shounen shows and into DC Silver Age territory.

If we’re talking full-powered Tirek, I gotta go with him. He was eating the kind of energy blasts that DBZ throws around like they were nothing in his fight with Twilight, and he wasn’t fully charged yet there.

An interesting though occurs to me, if Ki (not completely sure about this) can act in a similar manner to the magical energies of Equestria, couldn’t Tirek just keep absorbing power from anything that Cell throws at him?
 
Though by that logic, wouldn’t cell just use his tail to absorb Tirek?
