I really like Sunny, there’s just something about her.
In making her Sunny’s aunt instead, you still get to keep all of the nepotism and preferential treatment and without having to worry about what poor bastard had to marry Cinch in order for Sunny Flare to exist.
Sounds quite plausible to me.
Also, more reason to love her, since I’m in an IT vocational high school.

Because the fans are busy being distracted by the Midnight. If I have to shame and the fandom for their flaws, I would do so.
Not to mention most regular students wouldn’t have called Cinch out on her cowardice. As Cinch’s daughter, Sunny might be able to get by with telling the Principal off.
Also in the tri-cross relay, Cinch mentions Sunny and Lemon Zest requested short track. Preferential treatment for her daughter, maybe?
