Well, if it’s strictly diaper fetish, then it’s similar to people liking latex suits or silk or any other material fetish. They like how it feels, especially since if they wear them correctly, it’s wrapped around their crotch.
 
Adult babyism, or ageplay (like what this tumblr is about) can more be related to crossdressing probably, as it makes one able to pretend they’re something they’re not. Some people just like being taken care of, looking cute, or pretending they have no trouble in the world. And a lot of us had some trauma or another while growing up, that manifested to make us be like this.
