#23 - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - OTP

Sporax is a ship I got into after watching the episode ‘The Times They Are A Changeling’ and just…..wow. They have such a good relationship??? They’re best friends who eventually fall in love ok that’s just how it be
In MLP Venomverse Chrysalis is still in charge of the hive, although Thorax helps out a lot (and is kinda like her deputy in a sense). He does have the title of ‘King’ in Venomverse, but Chrysalis still has the majority of the control. Similar to how I made both Erwin and Hanji the Survey Corps Commanders (with Erwin being the main Commander and Hanji being the Co-Commander), they both share rule over the hive. Also, since I like both Thorax’s original design and his shiny new beetle design, I like to think that every once in a while that shiny skin gets shed through a molting process and he’ll return to his original appearance, and the cycle will repeat. Best of both worlds!!
I really love the headcanon that @/Earthsong9405 put out a while back (shown here
) that Changelings don’t really have specific genders. They’re agender/nonbinary and they choose where they are on the spectrum (whether they’re on the binary, not on the binary, are somewhere inbetween, etc.) I really like that, so in Venomverse Thorax is a nonbinary guy (going by He/him or They/them)! Lop also has a similar headcanon that I like too (you can see it here lopoddityart.tumblr.com/post/1…), so I’ll probably use both in Venomverse in some sense.
Spike and Thorax here currently have 2 kids in Venomverse! I did actually sketch out headshots for them but I’m still playing around with design ideas, especially since I’m trying to figure out how to draw dragons that don’t all look like big beefy monsters with square faces, which I mean isn’t a bad thing, but I wanna try and branch out with my designs a bit ya feel
Spike is Twilight’s adoptive son, making him the adoptive older brother of her children with Discord and Tempest :>
