Vegeta was an elite class Saiyan. Not to mention that one bald Saiyan could wipe out the pony population in matter of I’d say at most an hour. You literally took poor evidence in this comparison. Hopefully it’s just a joke too. Vegeta as just a kid could probably blow up the entire pony planet without a sweat. Just saying..

Vegeta just merely dismantled him… Cui, Dodoria and Zarbon were mere target practice for Vegeta. Easy pickings, so he didn’t count them, he wanted to topple the big boss Frieza, a more admirable and glorified win, too bad he didn’t know what he was in for…

Vegeta absolutely beat Kakarot in their first encounter. He had to get two other people to finish Vegeta off.

hmm It is true that vegeta is not the nicest guy ever but he is a pround and powerful warrior and he deserves respect. He might not have the fancy magic ponys have but his unique abilitys and techniques make him even stronger than he looks. It is true that he died in the hands of the androids but he at least tried to save the world from them. This man can defeat a thousands of your ponies on his own and you know it! So do not make him look like the worse from the two.

Oh yes. I think the Cell and Buu arcs would be a lot shorter if Vegeta’s Sayian Pride ^TM and manbaby tantrums didn’t get in the way of things.

But… Instant transmission… Can’t Vegeta do that? Also, Vegeta has more heart than most give him credit for. His pride cannot and will never be broken.

Nice thought, but I see it a little bit different. As someone driven by strong emotions myself I know how hard it can be not to let overcome your hate, your anger, your fear. Surely Twilight was the voice of reason, but it was Starlights own first step to redemption. The funny thing about redemption is, that is doesn’t really matter if other appreciate you or not. If you can’t forgive yourself, you can become a lost cause. But, like always, that’s just one point of view for one of many characters. :-)

I’d call it the best kind of defeat. Breaking someone’s body is one thing, breaking her mind so severely that she basically hands herself in to the pony she broke reality to get revenge on is something else.
 
Twilight is the Princess of Friendship. Kungfu kicking them in the feels before forcing them to tap out with a ‘best friends forever’ bear hug is how she rolls.

Well, she has talked her into surrender. Appeal directly to Starlights personal conscience and the greater good inside her. I don’t know if you should count that as a defeat. If we talk about The Cutie Re-Mark Part II. But that’s just my personal point of view.

So it’s basically the ancient duel setting of “technic/knowledge vs. emotion/ambition”. An old classic in European and Asian mythology. Works for me. For myself I prefer the Asian version of wise master beats powerful but emotional unbalanced student, but the student surpass the master one day. And than Twilight will step down and give up the Element of Magic, just to concentrate herself on her new role of world princess of friendship (other races kingdoms associated). Buahahahhahaha! :-D
