The leg does extend backward but it does not fold backwards to the extent you draw, the spine and hip flexors help to get the leg backwards. See this pic for a good example of this anatomy >>1566900

Yeah man it’s honestly underrated, considering how agile she is, dash must have a spine like a gummy worm, so twisty flexible dash is a must, idk if I’ll ever rly post anything for this au stuff but these doodles seemed harmless enough to post orz
