Description
Oleander never did learn how to play nice. Then again Twilight should have expected this kind of smack talk from somepony that came from a fighting game.
Dude chill that’s not what I meant at all god damn.
Okay, yeah, I was being a little unfair.
No, this is just a reality of the industry that I thought everybody here already knew about if they have been following FiM all this time. Hell, the people working right now on MLP talk about this kind of things too. She is just stomping down rumors and just saying how things are, she isn’t bashing, she isn’t mean spirited, she isn’t lying at all
But if you want to, you can keep on whining
Lauren was not “whining”. If you need a lesson on what whining really is then allow Rarity to give you a lesson. The Diamond Dogs can confirm that she is an expert teacher on the subject.
@Jarkes
Lauren is hardly bashing on Hasbro as much as you think she does. Everything she has been saying so far seems to be pretty balanced out. It is no secret that working with a company can be difficult on a creative level for anybody. Many creators have expressed this. Some using far less nicer words than Lauren. So no need to judge her so harshly if she makes the occasional jab at some executive meddlers, eh?
I don’t know you don’t create something with tons of lore and a world space if you don’t enjoy it and I think she just wanted to make something unique that didn’t directly rip off her own idea for TFH but yeah whining about Hasbro isn’t doing her any favors.
Like I said, I’m beginning to think that she never liked working on the show or cared about the characters.
I’m glad she didn’t get her way then.
How typical of Faust that she can’t even compare these two without bitching about how oh so horrible Hasbro was. I’m beginning to wonder if she even actually enjoyed working on the show to begin with.
That’s good to know.
yeah, Lauren mentioned that the team allowed her to make the characters flawed with actual consequences to their actions, something that she couldn’t do with MLP because Hasbro didn’t want her to write that type of characters for a “kid show”
Like how everybody would have ditched Pinkie like they did with Paprika, rather than just bear with it, but since the plot said she and everybody else would get along they got along.
Also that Oleander would get discriminated just because of her magic by the MLP cast, rather than who she is, so if they were to meet it would be in neutral grounds where there is no protagonist centered morality, and the ponies wouldn’t have the plot bending backwards to make them right
Perhaps, at least, within the context of this comic. Without, which is why I wrote that comment, I was explaining why Oleander and other similar darkness users aren’t always evil. Riku, Mewtwo, that Digimon character whose name I forget, et cetera.
I think he was talking about that sick burn, not her emodarkness.
somepony gon’ smack a bitch
@CobaltTheMadMage
Short animatics that are like a “day in the life” for each character, as a sort of promotion tool as well as lore expander.
I really like Balder the Sage in Bayonetta. Especially the second. X3
Oh, thank goodness, I thought I was gonna have to burn some Black Magic dissers, but you proved my assumptions quite wrong. I can only hope for the day where I have freedom from those naysayers.
That’s what I said in my last couple of comments, yes. :3
No, but demons come from somewhere. Conversely, just because you have the power of God, doesn’t mean you’re good
Are you implying those two are the same as well? X3
Spawn may not be evil, but IIRC his powers are still demonic.
yeah, I’m sure fhtng th§ ¿nsp§kbl is a very nice guy once you get to know him
