Trollestia: Celestia is not_a troll. She is _playful. There is a huge difference between trolling and having a sense of humor.
Molestia: When did this come up? When has Celestia ever molested a child?
Tyrantlestia: Celestia has her limits and when those limits are broken, she will drop her playful, laid back behavior and get extremely serious. As for banishing Luna to the moon, it was NIGHTMARE MOON, who was Luna corrupted. And she did it reluctantly as in, she probably tried to reason with Nightmare Moon but to no avail and decided to do it in a way that, while it was the right thing to do, it was heartbreaking for her. Plus, she can no longer use the Elements of Harmony.
And then Celestia snaps and decides to become the new Wowbagger.
Heh, and ya’ll Who fanboys always making that series sound so interestin’, couldn’t stand it myself though, it’s just too goofy and from what I’ve seen I reckon a lot of the so-called interesting bits may just be ascended fanon theories. Well, plus it’s too damned long so I’ll be arsed if I go any further with that. Just doesn’t seem handled as well as The Nameless’ immortality. The Torchwood spinoffs are ok though, but again couldn’t hold my interest all the way through for entirely different reasons. I liked the woman that got stuck in a compactor and still lived in Miracle Day though, ahaha.
Anyway the whole boohoo woe is me so much power/life is a curse, aggravates me so much. Only those with no power at all over their own lives could come to see immortality that way. How about doing something USEFUL with that shit for once. I got enough of wangsty immortality for several dozen lifetimes off just one immortal, that asshole Strahd and his eternally-dying lover.
I’d like too, in fact that’s the way I see Celestia normally. Then I come across Tyrant/Molestia/Trollestia art/stories and it get’s really hard to stay that way.(those jokes have lived long past the point of being funny, in fact I don’t find them funny at all.)
That is all.
Never onscreen. We saw Twilight read a story in a book, but we never saw them interact on screen.
Both live forever, but Celestia never shows any feelings on her immortality (this I’m actually willing to forgive as a bit too dark, but I want the concept to at least be touched on). The Doctor has acknowledged that he’s an unstoppable death machine that could topple the universe if he went bad, and specifically travels with companions to stay grounded. The show never gives Celestia any real negative qualities, just random spots of incompetence to drive the story. This is espically jarring considering how every other main character is nuanced and flawed, even the antagonists. Both have a close fellow immortal who became evil (The Master, Nightmare Moon) but while The Doctor’s battles with The Master are some of my favorite Who stories, Celestia never directly interacted with Nightmare Moon.
My point is, Celestia could be as amazing and facsinating a character as The Doctor, but the writer won’t let her be. A shame.
I was getting a little impatient with you, but now I kind of want to give you a hug.
@Socks
I knew there was a reason I didn’t trust Luna. That mean little bitch.
Nope, you’re being just fine Trotsky.
Also, I guess I am being too harsh on Molestia.
I’d be lying if I denied the latter accusation.

Ponypon, I feel sorry for you. Do you just not trust nice people, or are you just scared of women?
I’m not saying I’d trust her more.
I never understood that. One moment and it was almost like they were mother and daughter, and the next, she has this inexplicable fear of Celestia despite the fact that she has never showing herself to be vengeful or violent. This little pony has lived around the Princess for years. Is she really so gullible as to believe hearsay, even when it’s so blatantly false? Sheesh.
@PonyPon
So you’d trust her if she was a bitch and a tyrant? That’s not backwards at all.
