I’d love if they make Starburst canon, while I love StarTrix but there’s no way they’ll blatantly make an episode that verbally canonized them and air it, none of that “hint hint subtle implication” I actually wanted an actual romance development that grew from friendship, plus its a double bonus for them since their childhood friends + current friends. I can only dream

Not really. I once thought the CMCs would never get their CMs before the series ends. Same with RD getting into the Wonderbolts. If the show lasts long enough, lets see where they take the Starlight and Sunburst thing.
 
EDIT: Also, watch Star VS The Forces of Evil. The way they play off of Star’s situation with Marco is hilarious. Even Star’s exboyfriend like Marco.

Wow. I have a comment on that image about Starlight introducing Trixie to Sunburst and then something like that happening. There’s a fan made comic about Sunburst talking about how great Twilight is in front of Starlight and it upsets her. There’s also that “Triggered” fanfic. Its like that fans predicted Starlight would be funniest with Sunburst in situations like these a long time ago.

I seriously like this weird-ass Starlight x Sunburst relationship better than most ‘canon’ ship out there–excluding AJ’s parents–AJ’s parents best couple.
 
I did not expect Starburst to end up being totally whack. Half the time I wanted to laugh, cry and yell at both of them for being so hilariously stupid.

I honestly was waiting through the whole episode for the moment when Starlight would crack and go full supervillain on Twilight and the others.

I’ve always posted that one of the funniest phrases I’ve ever heard in regards to the fandom is “Twilight cucking Glimmer with Sunburst” because the idea was so stupid. There were even people that would reply “Starlight wouldn’t mind” or “she doesn’t care about Sunburst.” Then this episode happened. Trixie and Maud even got in on it. I laughed hard because the only thing I found funnier than Twi cucking Glimmer is “all the mares cucking Glimmer.”
 
Well, Sunburst learned his lesson. Don’t take Starlight’s affection for granted. He deserved getting dropped through the floor.

Starlight realizes that she’s been hanging around socially reclusive ponies inside large blue buildings for too long.

Sunburst sure can hit it off with all the mares tho. LOL

Honestly I relate to Starlight even more than I did already after seeing this episode.
 
I often feel like the third wheel in most social situations, and everyone else seems to get along with my friends and family better than I do
