By “older ones”, are you referring to the previous gen costumes? Or the original 2011 versions of the G4 costumes?
The G4 costumes were always single-person. The original version of them had the back legs swinging around loose, whereas it looks like this one has them stiff.

This one however looks like its single person so the rear legs don’t move at all.
In effect it looks better when staying put… and at this point a giant plushie would be even better unless you REALLY want to employ your poor jobless cousin or something.
