They all do owe it all to Dash, but Twilight is still the main character of the show, ‘cause if it weren’t for her, the Mane Six wouldn’t come to be. And Dash didn’t lose any power. She simply pushed herself to do the Sonic Rainboom, without even trying to get it done. She had speed, but she couldn’t use the speed to its full potential. Couldn’t do the Boom again for a while? Well, for one thing, she obviously didn’t try to. Another is that when she tried, she didn’t have as much confidence as before, ‘cause the last time was a spur of the moment thing. She didn’t know how she did it. She just did.
 
And Twilight? Talentless? You couldn’t be more dumb. Her main talent is MAGIC. The Boom scared her and, as a reflex, the magic hidden within her shot out with a blast. And unicorns control their own magic, but who said they control ALL of their magic? No one. This is like Pokemon The First: Mewtwo Strikes Back. He had a fishload of power, but he didn’t know how to control it to its maximum capabilities. Same with Twi. And the ponies MAY have their talents before they get a Cutie Mark, but it only comes to light when they get one.

This is no surprise to anyone. Hasbro lists Rainbow Dash as the Main Hero of MLP…
 
…while Twilight as simply listed as the Main Leader…which is funny because both Pinkie and Rainbow Dash can inspire and think about the masses far more then Twilight.
 
RD lost most of her power giving it to Twilight(as established in canon TWICE she was a lot faster when she was younger, but couldn’t perform the Sonic Rainboom until a decade of training back up), a smart but basically talentless unicorn who’s main talent was manipulating books….because its CANON that ponies actually have their talent BEFORE they gain their cutie mark. Twilight did not, and she can’t even control her magic even though its ADDITIONALLY CANON that unicorns control their OWN magic.

They owe their destiny and the new elements of harmony to Rainbow Dash.

Exactly.

Makes partial sense. One wouldn’t condone their actions, but would offer their condolences for either their sour lives or their deaths in order for the heroes to grow.
 
An addition to this list: Frieza gave Goku his Super Sandwich powers by blowing up Krillin… I’d make a Dragon Quest reference here somehow if I could think of one. XD

Dash deserves no credit for accidently doing something good

This just in: Brainiac is the greatest hero ever for allowing Superman to escape the destruction of Krypton.

Kinda dumb to say a cutie mark is “because so-and-so did whatever”. Everyone gets one sooner or later.

In other news the man who shot Bruce Wayne’s parents is the hero Gotham deserves.

I like all these “and X is responsible for Y” comment because technically they’re true (at least partially).
