Watched some of it, and this is why watching anime is more compelling.
 
Teen Titans Go!, more or less an excuse to get the dubbers of the five Titans members to reprise the roles while failing to devalue the original Animesque cartoon because of the “cartoons are for kids” kind of mentality by the powers-that-be.

Speaking of it, have you ever watched Teen Titans Go? I’ve never watched it, and am curious about just how bad it is.

Only an anime reboot of EqGirls is most acceptable. Various animation studios other than Toei and Gainax are most eager for their take on the spin-off.

I hope they don’t try to reboot EQG Teen Titans Go-style. The lack of a human Twilight and Sunset Shimmer might even suggest it. These toys look great, but I don’t want chibi to spill over into the animation.
 
And where did RD’s skirt go? Terrible design.

Not terrible at all. And who knows, if they’re anything like the Funko pony line we’ll probably get additional characters later on. I’d think Sunset for sure, but I’d also like to see them take a shot at the villains from the last movie too. Adagio, Aria and Sonata would look awfully cute in this line up…

Except that since human Rainbow Dash wears skirts (with shorts or leggings underneath) 99% of her screentime and in 100% of her dolls… They shouldn’t care about that, since for every person that doesn’t buy her dolls, a bunch more do buy them.

Well, in this particular case, a skirt really would have been better, because Dash’s shorts look like crappy (probably due to the joints or whatever that is).

To be fair, a shitstorm revolved around Dash wearing skirt did actually ever happen. Hasbro probably doesn’t want to “repeat the same mistake”.
 
I also don’t know why, but I actually like RD in skirt.

What kind of monster would remove Dash’s skirt? I like my tomoboy waifu with some feminine clothes too.
