If you’re incapable of accept when you made a mistake, that’s fine with me. You’re not the first person to close yourself like that in the Internet, and you certainly won’t be the last. If you want to insult me to further prove your inability to provide an answer, that’s fine too. I won’t lower myself to your level though, if that’s what you were expecting to happen in order to worm your way out of it. And finally, if all you can do when someone refutes something you said is call him a troll, then, again, that’s perfectly fine too. Just shows the kind of person you are.
 
You made a refference. You used a phrase that didn’t apply. I pointed it out. I explained why it didn’t apply.  
You didn’t like it. You tried to change your stance. I noticed it. You also didn’t like it. End of the story.
 
I don’t care about Spike anymore I care about the other characters. I just pointed out something that I saw didn’t apply given what we know from both characters. I couldn’t care less about whatever prejudice you towards certain a fanbase.

I sincerely hope you’re trolling, dude, because if you are actually that dense that you still don’t understand how a reference joke works even when you’ve explained each aspect of it, oh man. Or maybe you’re just a spike fan that gets really defensive when people even potentially imply that he’s not physically tough. (Which again, he is, I said as much. Increased capacity and so on.)

I didn’t question his ability to take a beating. That’s not what your original post was at all.  
You said he was good at getting his ass kicked. Which is basically, “good at losing fights and getting pummeled”.  
That’s what I refuted. He was in one fight. Outnumbered, against enemies bigger than him, while holding back most of his advantages. And still defended himself quite well. Unlike Dave normally does.
 
That’s the extent of Spike’s parallel to Kick-ass’ theme of getting his ass kicked. One (not that similar) scene.
 
Then you said it was because Spike is often the butt-monkey. But that doesn’t apply to “getting your ass kicked” at all. Being hit by a door, falling down the stairs, tripping over a bucket, etc. Is that getting you ass kicked?  
Being good at taking beatings is not the same as being good at losing fights. Your comment reffered to the later.

So you fully understand why I made the reference, but say that its misusing the reference because despite constantly being the subject of physical abuse throughout the series he’s tough enough to take it.
 
Gee if only there was another character who’s defining trait was an increased ability to take a beating.

Yes, I know its a quote from the source. Everyone does. That’s not the point. You made the parallel about it fitting because he (Spike) is good at getting his ass kicked. I replied that he’s not. That is a blatant exageration. You then pretended to be talking about the fact that he’s used as the target of accidental physical humor, I pointed out that’s not what “getting your ass kicked” is at all. Is it clear enough for you, or do we need to go circles again?

Where he actually defended himself quite well against 3 bigger opponents without even using his firebreath, claws or teeth? And wasn’t hurt at all due to being covered in scales tough enough to let him shrug off things that would send ponies to the ER like nothing? You talking about that time? Cause I’m pretty sure that’s the only time he’s been in a brawl.
