Sassy Saddles is one of the best supporting characters the show has had in a while. She has a pretty and catching design, sharing the tall and slim build of Fleur-De-Lis. She has a charming voice with a cute habit of fashion-based euphemisms. Even when her business plan made Rarity miserable I couldn’t dislike Sassy because she was genuinely trying to make the boutique a success. Though Sassy Saddles was short-sighted and overstepped her bounds, the rocky start of the boutique was due to both Sassy and Rarity not communicating effectively with each other. Once Rarity clearly expressed her wishes and reminded Sassy of her place in the business, she showed real remorse and I’m happy to see them work together now as friends and business partners.
