Me too to some extent but I have learned the dangers of asking certain things on the Internet.
That being said I have done this with my cats to a certain extent when they get gunked up ears, though they are nowhere near as cooperative.
Also my mother does this for me from time with 2.5% hydrocortisone on account of the psoriasis I mentioned in my first comment long ago.

It particularly likes to manifest in that uppermost “back loop” part of my ear which be difficult to properly see into and will occasionally even bleed a little.
I’d like to know what caused them to have such an odd interpretation of that practice.

Seems kind of silly to me but whatever.
She’ll get sad, and pouty (and adorable) if you don’t comb her hair, and clean her hooves enough.
Especially if it happens to be Rarity.
If that is so I fear you are doing it wrong, have unusually sensitive ears, or both.
