IRC, amethyst mentioned, fusing with garnet made them (she and pearl) feel ‘strong’ and ‘important’. of course garnet would take offense to being equivalent to super mario’s mushroom power-up. she’s depressed personally because she was more or less singled out as to why sugilite ran amuck last time.

Hey why did Pearl and Amethyst want to fuse so badly with Garnet? I just thought Amethyst wanted to smash stuff, but she seemed a bit to depressed though.
Literally who? I’ve never seen anyone unironically claim that The Hub will be returning. People bitching at Discovery for their shitty handling of the channel and claiming that The Hub was much better, yes, but I’ve not seen anyone claiming that The Hub will return.

|| peridot manages to fix the communication hub that sugilite wrecked way back in ‘coach steven’ so pearl and garnet fuses into sardonyx to take down the ‘hub’. the hub gets repaired back twice before it was revealed pearl was the one fixing it after the first time.||
