What if the thing you know is “I shouldn’t have read that”?
Now THAT I would watch.
An anime/manga series which if I had to explain the things it involves I’d be spoiling it for you, but the main part of the plot is the fact that an elementary school girl (Rin, the one loli in the middle of the 3 in the picture) develops a crush on the teacher and this plays out from 3rd to 6th grade with a very complex web of relationships and every character that is relevant to the series has deep character development.
Now the problem is that despite the great storyline (Won’t make you cry like in Clannad, but it’s heartwarming), the fact most of the fan service comes from the underaged girls make this a very controversial thing, same way as Vladimir Nabokov’s “Lolita” (never read it but know what it’s about).
Now if you want to read it for the story (which you should do unless you’re a lolicon), I suggest not thinking too much of the fanservice as disgusting, but more as a necessary evil. At the start it looks like it’s bland in story content, but when you get to the part you learn about Aki Kokonoe (Rin’s mother, cousin of Reiji, Rin’s guardian) is when it gets interesting and you see proper development.
DON’T TRY TO WATCH THE ANIME! It only covers the first 20 chapters and it’s meant only to tie loose ends from the plot in the manga. Watch it only if you want after reading the manga.
