As a Christian and an aficionado of history myself, I say that there were heathen cultures that did have a degree of civilisation -- from the sun-worshipping Egyptians, Aztecs, and Japanese, to the literature and treasures and lore of the Slavs, Celts, and Germanics. Regardless of what they did, what matters more to me is what they had left behind.


 
Without them, where did we have our records of history from?
