But other families have close colorz, such as the Sparkles with their blues and purples, and obviously the Apples have many relatives to inherit their colors.
Even the Rock family has a bit of it. If you take the colors from Igneous Rock’s mane and up the contrast he would have had purple and pink hair when he was younger.

FFS it’s been four and a half years, why are people still doing this? Mane/coat color are not the direct product of parentage; Rarity’s family are the only ones in Equestria that we’ve seen where it works like that. Kids having a mix of their parents’ colors is a fine headcanon and all, but it has no bearing on actual canon.
