They’re sort of like the background ponies of the Harry Potter fandom: zero personality…until someone decides to give one a personality.
 
Of course, most OCs are either in Gryffindor (hang out with the main characters, or their sons and daughters, bravery/courage is always a cool trait), Ravenclaw (we all feel a little nerdy sometimes), or Slytherin (because not all of us want to write about a heroic, saintly character)

I wish people would stop treating my house like its a terrible place. In 1000 years, not one non-Hufflepuff has ever managed to infiltrate our dormitory. And that’s without the password ever changing!
 
Yeah, we don’t get the limelight, save for when Cedric was a Champion, but we don’t need it. All we need is our friends and whatever interests us or them.

I think we were TOLD where it was, we just never got to see it (there was a small area for it in the LEGO Harry Potter games, though).

We never even got to see what was inside their common room, or even where it was. Heck, we even got to see the inside of Ravenclaw’s common room in Deathly Hallows!

Well, Hufflepuffs ARE supposed to be loyal, not that they ever really got a chance to show that in the books or movies…

Hufflepuff is the best house.

I’d have preferred FLUFFLE PUFF.  

Hufflepuff’s a pretty cool house to be in.
