“So the Round Stable has a shipping thread now that started as a joke (as usual) and got way out of hand and kind of went full circle. Cuteosphere was like
i ship trixie with a garbage can because thats where the worst horse belongs
and something compelled me to make it happen. I enjoyed drawing this way too much. Writing drunken dialog is fun; I just have to ramble on until I say something ridiculous and trim out the boring bits. I ended up giving her this huge long spiel that I really liked but I had to cut way down. I might have to make it into a short comic. “Jusdged” is an actual typo that I decided to keep because it sounded more natural than any of my actual attempts at making her speech sound slurred, which all got purged.
And there you have it. For my first finished piece of pony fan art, I drew Sethisto’s favorite character drunk and homeless in a back alley mackin’ on a trash can, based on an idea by Cuteosphere. No doubt this will do wonders to endear me to the pony fandom!”

Actualy, no. In Fact, I thought rainbow rocks was going to be a side Internet show and not an entire movie. But sunset’s rise is also cliché, frozen surprised me when the dude who wanted the kingdom turned out to be a total heartless bastard and that turned out to be a cliché. That actually ruined me having any liking of frozen.

If legends and gods of rock composed the music, then it would’ve at least Made it bearable.
For a movie made from a book of cliches, Sunset Shimmer stepping up to be the main heroine sure seemed to catch everyone by surprise. But I’m sure you can point to a comment you made before the movie came out discussing that very possibility, right?

As much as I disagree with C Money, I have to say I disagree even more with you. Everyone’s entitled to their opinions, though.
That would have made it retarded.
The EG films were made with a book of clichés. FiM drew me in because I nightmare moon and thought of Freddy Krueger, watching more episodes and saw Twilight directly using the word “poisoned”, watched more episodes and then watched the first episode of Star Trek: next generation and realized (after research) that Q is in mlp. Also, Tirek vs Twilight: HOLY SKAGSUCK, and then rainbow rocks: more clichés plus rock made for children. The only way I could have liked RR is if: Queen, AC/DC, Rush, and Pink Floyd made guest appearances or composed the music.
Not wrong at all. FiM is boring, EqG is actually interesting.

It’s because they needed a caracter with the right color palate. Think of it: a demon looking thing that’s sky blue with light blue hair and light purple eyes. It doesn’t fit right, but lightish Orange with red and yellow hair, now that’s demonic.
Because Sunset Shimmer is a better, more interesting character than Trixie.
And EqG is a better, more interesting story than FiM.
It makes sense in hindsight, because she-
A. Simply cannot be afforded the kind of respect Sunset Shimmer gained.
and
B. Simply does not deserve the additinal torture being Sunset Shimmer can be. Especially when being Trixie is already it’s own punishment.

I dont like EQG, but i honestly wonder why they had to make her when they could have easily made Trixie into the villain there, and saved themselves making a character. Though then again, it makes sense since they want to sell more toys i guess.
