I suppose that makes sense. It would be pretty original if IDW or maybe Hasbro did acknowledge Rarity bring the oldest member, roughly around the age of Mayor Made. But, hey, whatever floats your boat, you know?
And I just realized, Sunset Shimmer is older than Twilight. I’m not too familiar about her backstory with Celestia, but it would make another lick of sense if Rarity is just as old as Sunset.

I was just thinking the same think, with all the evidences in “Call of the Cutie” showing all Mane Six to be fillies, but then there’s the comics.
It seems like both the show and comic series contradict each other with Rarity’s age. For all we know she could be 10 years older but doesn’t show it through her beauty, maybe?

Like I said, depends. The show has an episode where Cheerilee is seen in the background of Rarity’s childhood. the comics has Cheerilee and Mayor Maren going to the prom or dance or some shit at the same time as Cadence. As for Rarity being the oldest, a solid maybe. Call of the cutie has all the m6 get their CMs at the same time. FOR SOME REASON.
