Not really. I like the Derpy/Dinky thing because it actually is adorable, and it’s fun to see the artwork of the two being mom and daughter. Never once did I go “OH THIS MAKES SENSE BECAUSE POKEY DECIDED TO GET LUCKY AND GOT HER PREGNANT”.

OK, fine, you got me, the reason I and so many others enjoy all the cute and silly pics and stories of Dinky being Derpy’s daughter is because we relish its terrible, grimdark origins. Guilty as charged. PB’s right to label it a “terrible and sad fan theory”.
So basically he went out of his way to make it non existing?!
The closest proof I can find of that pic existing is from a deleted entry on e621, with the statement “Artist requests images to be removed”. Apparently, PB was very thorough in making sure that pic no longer existed, even on adult image sites.
I don’t think a direct link to e621 would be wise (might break the rules), but the post in question is /387003. The tags suggest that was indeed the pic in question, but whether it was the “We’re NOT gay!” version will be lost to time.

Oh, god. I remember that. There was the (original?) version with them shouting “We’re not gay!” and one where they are screwing without the exclaimation. Apparently, PB had enough of the shit that both pics caused and seemingly deleted them off of the internet.
He did come off as condensending as “fanon made these characters gay! Why?!”
I think I know the image you’re talking about, but I’m pretty certain that it wasn’t one of PB’s.

Seriously!? It feels like he seems to do that just to take hits at the fanon ideas, such as Lyra and Bon-Bon dating or Thunderlane being gay, which makes no fucking sense since people constantly ship him with either Rarity (all because she hugged him in _Wonderbolt Academy…), ship him with Blossomforth, or with Cloud Chaser/Flitter. If he wanted to do a “THEY’RE NOT GAY” image, it would have worked better with Braeburn, considering everyone says Braeburn’s gay.

Well, there was one picture he made with Lyra and Thunderlane having sex and both shouting “WE’RE NOT GAY!” (Which I can’t find, oddly enough), and if memory serves correct, he personally started shit in the comment section.
Then again, it was a long time ago, and my memory may just be placing him there because I subconsciously hate him more that I realize, so there’s that.
And yes, I’m completely certain the picture did exist, you can’t make shitstorms like that up.
I don’t know, the rest of his art is well done and on-point.
Some people just tend to have larger egos, and it’s something I put up with for free art.
Besides this atrocity and the Button Mash ones (here comes people saying “WAIT HE’S FUNNY”…), what else as PB done that just says “I’m a doucheknocker”?
And it wasn’t even the first one to have that particular take on that fanon anyway.
But you must admit Dash Academy is a big and very well known comic what is quite relevant.
