Actually, it’s telling me the picture I chose is “too long” i.e. it has too many “characters”, and I have no idea what that means or how to fix it.
Huh, strange… it may need you to follow the specific rules of it…? I’d ask a mod.
Thing is, I figured that out, and I did it, but it didn’t work.
The interface isn’t terrible. You’re just not used to it.
Your name’s at the top of the screen next to “Logout”. Scrolling over it creates a dropbox. Select the “Account” option (for me, it’s the bottom-most option of the dropbox).
And it’s an “avatar” (saying, since that’s what it asks you to select on the Account-page).
So, I found a picture I want to use, but for the life of me, the interface here is terrible, and I can’t figure out how to make it my thumbnail.
Find a picture that you wouldn’t mind being what people can identify as you.
Also, go find Scrounge and tell them that I said that; that guy needs one, too.

Not only the past, but the VERY RECENT past. Yeah, I keep seeing your name in my notifications-box. Heh… It’s fine, though, I like those who think differently to me; it gives me the opportunity to gain some perspective on things in life… or for them to say my head’s up my ass… again… XD
True. It could just be an artist’s limitations, and I’ll admit I haven’t seen enough by this artist to know whether or not that’s the case.
Also, haven’t we replied to each other a lot in the past? Tell me I’m not the only one that noticed.
I really like the Pinkie one in particular, but I WILL admit that it seems like I’ve seen that “pose” at least twice in the past by this artist, just… her standing there with that smile, in a playful manner.
They COULD be more varied, but then again, it’s whatever the artist is comfortable with doing. If they don’t think that they can represent enough of a mixed “body style”, well, that’s their prerogative, even if they probably should work on it.
I’ll admit, I’ve been pretty sensitive to body shaming lately, and I may be overreacting, but at the very least I can say that I find this body interpretation of the Mane 6 quite dull compared to the ones where they all have vastly different bodies.

Well, I’ll give you the “boobs”, but WAIST?… HER?… Uh-uh.
I don’t quite think so; Rarity and Rainbow Dash seem to have pretty slim builds, with Dashie in particular having more of a muscular build.
Pinkie and Fluttershy DO make sense in being bigger, given their lifestyles, and I suppose Applejack’s less “obese” and more “big”, as her height and weight seem to balance each other more.
As for Twilight, she’s less big than Fluttershy, but slightly more than Dash, it seems.
Seems the artist was going just for a “diverse”-look.
I guess that’s true. However, women tend worry about their appearance too much as it as, and not depicting women with diverse bodies encourages them too look a certain way. I get that fat shaming was bad when it was at its peak in the 90s, but replacing it with skinny shaming, which seems to be where society is going, doesn’t solve anything.

Well, people are allowed to have their own opinions, and let’s face it, if everyone had the same opinion, a lot of artwork would look pretty much the same.
I agree, though I’d still choose AJ. Even if it meant death by snu snu, I’d be fine with it.
… Looks dangerous. I’d stick with Fluttershy.
