Description

What you see here is a theory about Twilight’s relation to Cadence. Twi’s origin isn’t discussed, she just banished from the place she came from. She is found and taken to the Castle and where she befriends Cadence. Then, they die…  
After 1200 years Cadence returns to life as a filly, she seeks out her family and stays there. She rebirths Twilight and gives her to the Sparkles, convincing them that she’s theirs, and takes on foalsitter resposibilities.

You know this was written two years ago, a time when canonical alicornication wasn’t a thing, right?  
It’s true that Cadence’s a pegasus-turned-alicorn, but this theory doesn’t really contradict that.

(A in-depth review! I’m staring to like it here!)  
  1. Well, that’s true… (“The two of her parents”, does she, like, have more of them?)  
  2. After her revival, she had to learn to speak again. Therefore, she spoke modernly in that flashback. (Or, maybe they have always spoken modernly, and the way Luna speaks was a trend that wore off!)  
  3. There’s two lines of Royalty; The Royal Unicorn Line (Princess Platinum’s descendants, and ancestors) and The Alicorn Line (not much of a line as Alicorns almost never settle down with somepony,(one documented incident of this) and are pretty much immortal).

I think it’s… interesting? Surely very imaginative. I’d have to say there’s obviously a few flaws in the argument though.  
  1. Twilight was born to the two of her parents in the show. There’s never been any type of hint that that might not be true, so it should be accepted as such.  
  2. If Cadence were from a time so long ago, from before Discord was defeated the first time by Luna and Celestia, and then suddenly revived, yet retained all memories of her life, wouldn’t she talk like Luna does? Much more like a Royal than how the modern day ponies do? You could argue that she’s had time learn to speak normally, but then there’s the flashback of Cadence as a much younger filly with a tiny little Twilight, and she’s talking just fine, there.  
  3. There has never been a rule that said Cadence, or ANY Alicorn for that matter, must be directly related or connected to Celestia. In fact, Prince Blueblood is Celestia’s NEPHEW, and he’s just a Unicorn. That means there may be a very extended family of royalty, and not all of them are alicorns. So Cadence’s origins could very well be quite simple. It’s not unusual for the show to not allude to the existence of a character’s parents. It’s rare that we’ve seen any of the main character’s parents in the first place.
     
    Again, though imaginative, the hypothesis you’ve come up with is only relying on what are, really, random ideas with no proof or facts, however minor, to back it up. Lack of information doesn’t equal proof of something else. ;u;
     
    Anyways. I look forward to seeing more of these from you. With a little more thought put into them with some time and effort, I’m sure you’ll come up with something truly intriguing.
