And as somebody who reads homestuck and goes to KYM, I can tell you that every single homestuck there gave the staff all kinds of shit for that debacle.

Except as someone who reads Homestuck, I can state with specific firsthand experience that they tend not to know jack shit about what they’re talking about. Trust me. The video especially, oh god, I cringed so hard.
I think you are mixing things up.
