Ah!
Muuuuuuch better.
Sorry for being so picky earlier. Personal preference and all that…
Ok I see.
I guess that works.
New idea:
[I need you to find me.]
finds body
[OK. Right now, I am unable to move. Carry me to this location. There will be an extraction. Don’t worry, these people will help you.]
extraction
[Hold off until extraction is here!]
after extraction and a few days later
[Hello there. I seem to have not yet properly introduced myself. My name is (REDACTED) and welcome to the Resistance. As you can see, I do not have any limbs. We seem to have run out of spare parts. Since I cannot go do missions, you shall take my place. And not to worry, I will always be there for you to give advice.]
end of prologue
I meant do the same thing she would as an AI, but not be dead. You know, standard mission control stuff, nothing that involve, you know, walking or raising her arms (if she even still has limbs).
I just want the dude to be the protagonist.
Just a random dude with little to no experience.
And maybe in the early missions, you find what’s left of her and upload her brain into an AI after she contacted you through radio waves. Something like that.
Body dead, brain alive.
So either she’s not totally dead, or being a cyborg makes you a ghost. Why not heavily wound her and let her do basically the same thing while on life support?
Cyborg stuff.
Nuff said.
:I
Bait and switch.
Also, anything to avoid the question of how does she wind up as an AI if she’s DEAD?
Why would the dude die?!
He’s suppose to be the protagonist that you control!
Fine. the dude dies early on and you play as her for most of the game. Better?
Ugh, that sounds exactly like something a JRPG company would do.
Or she survives, shows up again a little later, and dies near the end of the game once the dude (and the player) get used to having her around.
Probably not. We were just making a joke.
However, if this is actually referencing LoL, then yes.
@Putinforgod
Does this need a League of Legends tag, then?
Where the hero was just a dude and was saved by a chick who would die at that moment but before she was to be killed, she would say these words.
Then, throughout the game, she acts as an AI that helps the hero.
Aaaaah. Speak no more. >:)
It’s pretty clear that mecha is implied to be a cybernetic version of Thresh, it even got random chains hanging from it.
I second this motion, but then, if Spike is Lucian and Rarity is Senna, then who would play the role of Thresh? Chrysalis?
