Ahem… Some of US bronies here also happen to be Sonic-fans.  
I’m not obsessed with Sonic, or anything, I’m more of a casual fan, but I still like Sonic. Also regardless of the bad rep’ the fanbase has, I’ve met some cool/nice/sane Sonic fans.
 
Sonic fans are “human” to, people. (Well, except for Chris Chan, Nicochi, and Richard Kuta… I don’t know what to classify those “things” as…) :P
 
It’s really ironic to see bronies who want people to accept them for their fandom, (and for liking a girl’s show) hating on other fandoms, or trying to shame people for liking Sonic.  
It’s further ironic considering bronies do alot of the same things Sonic fans do, (like make tons of recolor fan-characters/OCs for example) and have their own fair-share of “unique” fans to. (Let’s face it, we bronies have issues to, and our own fair share of drama.)
 
I think I’ll go play Sonic 1 on my 3DS just to spite the Sanik-haters. :P
