Not exactly, the one in your picture is the Tyrrell P34 from 1977, the one in the this is based on the one from the year before.
Sometimes there’s a legitimate reason for a re-post. Maybe a tweak by the artist or a different image size. Plus, I certainly don’t object to seeing this one again. The off-season has me twitching involuntarily and checking the calender every 5 minutes.
You could have just reported it and just moved on…
Talking about blatant design, what about the Brabham BT46?
With the eyes of these days, it’s hilarious that could even race! (And actually won!)
Yeah, they eventually banned it for 1978. The rules are so tight these days that it’s rare to see such an act of blatant, brave creativity.
What I was embarrassed about was getting the years wrong…I wish a post could be edited. I’ve been watching F1 since the days when Lauda & Prost were team mates. I shouldn’t get simple facts like that wrong.
The actual embarassing thing is that rules allowed 6 wheels, apparently.
But that made sense: the smaller the wheels, the lower the aerosynamic friction. But small wheels also means worse steering so… let’s just add a couple more!
Genius.
I personally want to say Brands Hatch myself.
2 years…it ran for 2 years. I’d forgotten they were still using it in 1977. (That was embarrassing)
The only win came in ’76.
It’s one of the strangest cars in Formula One history, and only ran for a single season but it did actually win a Grand Prix.
In case you (or anyone else) wants to know more about it…
Tyrrell P34

Trees & curbs look like the old Nurburgring…or Zolder. Both were on the schedule in 1976 (the only year Tyrrell ran the P34).
mind..
Mmm no, not even close.
More like the F1-90.
But it’s just similar.
It looks like the 1995’s Ferrari 412T2 F1.
It’s hard to tell what exactly it is from close up. There’s no denying the P34, and Derpy’s wrecked car resembles a late ‘70s wing-car, but Dash’s car kind of says early ’90s Ferrari to me.
Dash’s car looks more like a muscled-up Indycar.
That’s hardcore!
