So, you don’t like my Ghetsis walk cycles!? Fine! Take this animation instead! A Death Note/My Little Pony crossover… because the world needs more ponifications… or, actually, it doesn’t, but… I’m like making these stupid things too much!
 
Don’t wanna get too much into Death Note spoilers (which searching what this specific scene is of will definitely give), so… basically, the main character, Light Yagami, a genius student, gets a notebook that lets him kill people through magic, and he uses this power to become a god, to make the world better… through murder. Yeah… Due to them both being students, and having kinda sorta similar names, now Twilight wants to become a God! Celestia’s sure helping by promoting her to a Princess.
 
The colors here are pretty desaturated. Wanted to capture Death Note’s bleak artstyle, while still having MLP’s character designs. Also, line art, and masking, were experimented on here. I think they turned out pretty well. Certainly gonna experiment more on ‘em.
 
I forgot Twilight’s wings here, but I think the picture works better. Light wanted to rule the world from the shadows. Having too obvious of godly features on him would kinda give him away.
