i grew up on G1. my mother’s sister watched us often and she loved it too (as i was born in the 90s). she had alot of the dolls. i still have some and my firefly is up on my shelf.
i love G4 alot more but i will never forget or loose my love of G1. it’s my starting point

I think that comparing G1 and G4 is unfair. They’re similar, but also diffrent. Rather than thinking of one or the other as better, think of them as siblings.

I kinda get tired of hearing how “bronies hate G1,” I liked G1, (seeing as how I had an older sister who watched it, and had the toys) especially the smooze.
