Are you seriously still doing this? Hey, remember two weeks back when you said you ‘don’t hate SpikeBelle,’ you ‘just don’t like most shippers who ship it’? I mean, not that this was anything but obvious bull to begin with, but now you’ve called it a stupid ship and going on about how it’ll never happen in canon, so that argument is now completely impossible for you to make. Which means you’re coming into an image for a ship you don’t like, to complain about the ship you don’t like. This is called ‘being a total asshat’, and it just means that everyone stops caring about your opinion. As such, please stop sharing it. Thank you.

To be honest, the ship makes sense in terms of canon. Spike will never get with Rarity, duh, so he goes for the next best thing; Rarity’s sister. It happens all the time.

Yes of course I’ve seen Sisterhooves Social, it’s one of my favorite episodes, and highlighted numerous differences between the two. Some similarities as well, but those only served to further the contrast between their differences. They approach things in a completely different manner, which is where their initial conflict comes from; it’s true that it’s their similarities that really keep them rolling, though. This is basically true for any time they’re together. They’ve got certain things in common which makes it hard for them to accept each others’ differences, basically.
 
So yeah it is bad on me for saying they ‘have very little in common,’ that… was wrong. I tend to go to extremes when I really go into things like I was then, and I don’t always catch my self. If you look through my posts there, I think you’ll find several points where I did catch myself, and probably a lot more where I just plowed on through with my extremes. That’s how I am, I guess. Still think you’re exaggerating just how similar they are. Similarities exist, but enough differences, too.

Personalities and dialects are different, which is why some of us don’t see how similar they both are. Maybe not dialects, maybe mannerisms, I sort of don’t have the right word. Apologies. >w<

Are you kidding? You’ve seen “Sisterhooves Social”, right? Sweetie Belle and Rarity have a LOT in common. Their personalities are almost disturbingly similar; that’s what makes their scenes together so enjoyable to watch.

Oh, man, I’ve been considering adding it myself, and I’m probably at least half the drama right now. It’s probably definitely a comments drama, I think. :|

I’m just waiting for that one jackass from dm29’s previous Spikebelle pic to show up…
