There is no difference between what is right and what is necessary.
Nothing is necessary, and there’s always a choice.
Failure is always an option, but we already know what happens when we choose that.

Chill, the story isn’t over yet.
Also. Again. How the fuck does she KNOW this?
So far, I’m honestly finding the evil pre-redemption Sunset iteration more appealing than one. This one keeps coming off as a fixer sue as the story goes on.
of that, I do agree
Pretty sure things are done very similarly in America and the UK when it comes to trials and that sort of thing.
Besides, justice is the same everywhere. It’s the pursuit of justice that’s different.
@Jarkes
Indeed.
See? This is exactly the kind of discussion Beavernator wanted with this. This whole situation is intended to be morally gray, and it looks like he’s succeeded in that department.
a trial is still required, that and I going on UK justice, not US
They can be, but it’s not always the case. But the point is, again, that what we’re seeing here isn’t murder, it’s capital punishment.
and the one’s that don’t are the most corrupt
Trials are great, but not every government rolls that way.
but do we know if it is or just some trick, besides an execution happens 8AFTER8 a trial, not before
Murder is unlawful, premeditated, and unjust. Killing this imposter would be none of those things. It’s an execution.
attack can be met with attack back, attack can not be met with murder
To say that she isn’t this bright is completely groundless. The second queen isn’t “out of nowhere”, and magic doesn’t have to behave exactly the way you think it should. All I’m hearing is a lot of bias here.
@James739
It’s not murder, that imposter just attacked Sunset and Twilight.
Sunset Shimmer is apparently now Sun Tzu Shimmer, and lol second queen out of NOWHERE. The comic is inconsistent, the writing is sloppy and choppy, and you STILL haven’t explained how Sunset Shimmer can contain two alicorns worth of power without being an alicorn herself.
Again, I like Sunset Shimmer, but she was NEVER this strong and while capable of decent villain planning, was never this intelligent.
Yeah, maybe we’ll see Celestia’s corpse.
Because if there’s one thing I can always expect from Celestia is disappointment, it works like fucking clockwork.
Eh. We’ll see.
I’m pissed that Celestia isn’t going to be allowed a triumphant return, or a tearful reunion with her loved ones, she’s just dead.
Because that’s the status quo: Once Celestia has filled her role in the story, she’s right out of the window.
@Millennial Dan
Well, Beavernator HAS stated that this whole comic is meant to be a morally gray type of thing…
Not that I’d expect guys like ARchy to understand that. Someone DARES to suggest that Celestia’s not a perfect little angel who can do no wrong, and he throws a fit and decides not to follow the artist anymore because the artist DARED to do something that he personally doesn’t like. At least 441TheSecond stuck around…
If Celestia cooked up a terrible scheme like that just to make a point, it would ironically reinforce the idea that she is herself not a great ruler either.
