I hadn’t even considered it, but you’re spot on.
Sounds appropriate for an “Illusion”.
It’s a little computer noise box with a bunch of buttons, when you push a button it plays a particular sound file, you record it with the sounds of drum beats, cymbal strikes, different notes from a bass guitar and so on so that when you play it you can press the right buttons in time with the music to play.
Great, it’s a synthesizer.
I still don’t really understand it anymore than the last time someone told me it was a synthesizer.
