Yeah, nothing against Maxtaro personally, but he needs to lighten up… I understand half the fanbase has issues, and such, but he takes it to personally/seriously, and basically acts like nearly every brony is “scum.”  
As I said it’s ironic ‘cause he’s no better then a “brony” himself, sense he is a fan of the show/characters to.
 
I don’t get why people (even fellow MLP-fans) assume we’re all “evil fedora-wearing cyber-terrorist trolls,” and such…

I think that’s the sterotype for people who spend most of their time on the internet, and not just bronies.
 
Honestly, I actually do wear a fedora with my basic tee shirt/jeans combo. It’s not douchey, I swear! And I only get a neckbeard when I haven’t shaved for a while…

Yeah, I can take a joke sometimes, and I can do self-deprecational humor, but some peoples’ humor about bronies/ponies are often… dare-I-say, one-trick ponies, or just flat-out hateful.
 
I mean how often have we seen the “fat, ugly, neckbeard with fedora” stereotype? It’d be nice to have a different stereotype, like a “skinny nerdy guy” as a brony instead or something.

It truly depends. In my opinion, humor towards fandoms is typically of a really low quality, and is treated as if the thought of the fandom is extremely funny. American Dad, CSI, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force all had really bad humor about furries, that the average viewer couldn’t really understand. However, Bob’s Burgers’ episode regarding bronies was much better when it came to brony humor, actually encompassing the whole fandom, and using a broad spectrum of things to laugh at. Instead of just overdoing one extremely specific aspect to the point that it’s annoying, and sad to watch. Needless to say, much anti-brony humor is also really boring and repetitive, such as:  
-Being an almost exact copy of curtsibling’s semi-original comics.  
-Revolving entirely around ponies being gored, impaled, hung, incinerated, crucified, etc., which the fandom itself does.

Not from when it’s a hater, who thinks any brony who likes so much as one-meme, or has their own headcanon about something is a “rabid brony” to him.
 
Also, as I said Maxtaro is one of those people who constantly demonizes bronies, (and kisses up to brony-haters, and such) even though he basically IS a brony… (It’s true he has an entire favorites folder on DA dedicated to pony, and is a fan of the show to.)  
I think bronies like that are much more annoying then the ones he’s “protesting.”
 
When you constantly demonize an entire group of people, don’t expect them to be able to “take a joke.”

Actually I think the “equality and tolerance” thing was just something meant to troll the haters on 4chan in the early days of bronies. It just ended up being taken for some reason as though it was serious by some.
 
At least this is how a brony documentary I watched on youtube told it.

She’s also in the “Anti-MLP:FiM-club” on DA… She also makes stuff like this, and this Apparently, she’s one of those fans who prefers G3 out of nostalgia, and hates bronies, and judges them all on the minority of bad fans/bronies…
 
Y’know, I hate to say it, but these hater girls are really giving some female MLP-fans/pegasisters a bad rep’.  
It’d be like a male TMNT fan saying girls shouldn’t like TMNT, always demonizing them, or saying that only the old campy ‘90s TMNT show is good, and such… I imagine such a person wouldn’t have as many supporters as she does…
 
Y’know, one of the reasons I see female-MLP fans say they hate bronies, is because “bronies hate older generations of MLP.” (One girl even said that on the front page of a club I help admin on DA) This is also apparently why some old-school MLP-fans like to bash G4, and bronies to “retaliate,” making their behavior ironically no better…  
Yet, ironically alot of male fans on this site actually do like G1, (even I liked watching it with my sister I admit back in the ‘90s sometimes) and there’s alot of images from both the G1, and G3 eras of pony.  
Even before the “brony”-craze started, I remember seeing a few dudes even referenced things like “Nothing can stop the Smooze!” before online.
 
Not that we should really care what some ignorant haters think, it’s just a bit disheartening that they are always preaching for “equality,” and “tolerance” in the MLP fanbase, while at the same time preaching hatred against half of it…

Oh, by stitchlovergirl96? It took her and another guy SEVERAL days to get done with part 1. That’s a lot of effort for very little reward. They also pick very shitty designs for bronies.

Sounds like he’s probably alright but gets caught up in labels and grudges if he lets himself. You know how even a normal person can seem to lose their cool personality and be a degrading sort briefly at fans of a popular song they don’t like? Kind of the same idea.

The “artist,” I recall (kinda hard to use that term, considering this just a Gmod 3D set-up) is one of those people who hates bronies despite practically being one. (He even has pony-pics in his favorites despite “not being a brony.”)  
He also hates Derpibooru for people downvoting his pics.
 
Max seemed like a nice guy at first, but he needs to chill. He thinks practically any brony who likes so much as one meme/gag is a “rabid brony.”
