That was the sequel to the egg one.
A cruel joke that was then almost immediately followed by a bunch of breakfast jokes.
Yeah, the first commercial with Overly Concerned Dude cracking an egg in a frying pan came out in 1987, before half the people here were even born. Then– as now– the most common controlled substance used by American teenagers was marijuana, so commercials featuring a delicious egg sizzlin’ in a pan came across as something of a cruel joke to most of the kids they were trying to reach.
You only posted one Jontron image, at least, and that was before Prof.Nightjack advised everybody to stop. BigMackintosh, on the other hand, posted multiple times even AFTER Nightjack advised him to cut it out, so he has no excuse. Nor does anybody else who continued after being advised to stop.

It’s like those ones with the egg being fried or the girl going crazy and breaking everything in the kitchen with a frying pan, right? Those commercials?
Anyway, do The Kids These Days even remember “This is your brain on drugs”? That was, like, two hundred years ago or something.
