Admittedly, recently they’ve been slowing down. I blame EA (duh); since the takeover they’ve been pushing into the “rushed-out AAA titles” market rather than the lovingly handcrafted earlier ones, like KotOR 2 or Jade Empire.

As far as I’m concerned, Bioware has lost its magic. I love Mass Effect to death, and quite enjoyed Mass Effect 2, flawed that it is. Mass Effect 3 is when I fell out of love, since the gameplay was a shittier Gears of War, the dialogue options consisted of either a smily face or a frowny face response, with no real impact on anything, the story lacked narrative coherence, and the dialogue was worse than in Man of Steel.
 
Go look up MrBtongue or Smudboy for fuller criticisms of bioware’s latter-day offering.

What’s wrong with you that you don’t yaying like Bioware? The dialogue is witty, the characters well-written (even if they are the same handful in every game), and the storylines engaging. Even Yahtzee has nothing bad to say about it.

That’s weird, I played this on the PS3 like… four to five years ago, so… maybe I remember it wrong. All I know is…. Anders and Fenris are the only romantic interests I hate more than Flash Sentry

I think my opinion of Dragon Age 2 is higher than it should be because I played DA2 before DA:O. But I really like the default female Hawke model… Varric and Isabela were both fun, the worst parts of the game personified into Anders and Fenris… those two gave me such a horrible impression that it has ki8lled any interest I had on fictional Heterosexuality and want any female Main Characters to be a lesbian.
