Majesty, queen of Dream Valley, has died. Her eldest daughter, Princess Pearl, is to acquire the throne be crowned Queen. Her five sisters, however, have not settled for second place. During the middle of her coronation speech, Queen Pearl is the target of an assassination attempt and those loyal to her must discover who is at the root of the plot. In times of great turmoil during Majesty’s reign, a human girl called Megan would be called from the mortal world to aid them. She is the Keeper of the Rainbow of Light and Dream Valley’s most powerful weapon, but some years ago, the portal closed and Megan was never seen again. Desperate to survive and to hold her throne, Pearl calls the Keeper to Dream Valley, but an unknown girl appears in Megan’s stead, a girl who claims to be Megan’s daughter and has no knowledge of the enormous power contained within the little heart locket she keeps around her neck. With an uncertain weapon on her side, Pearl must learn who is loyal to her, and who is not. Darkness will invade the valley and its inhabitants will be forced to pick a side.
