i would presume it is someon uconnected. which means someone else has a portal to the human world. thus how twilight gets there. and it is not that farfetched. the comics say that such things as portals to other worlds can occur and were not so uncommon in equestria.
It’s Cadance,not Celestia,so what ?
It isnt mind blowing at all it’s just another princess alicorn just like Celestia.
Changing the character doesnt make it more original
The movie is still a rehash
Sadly, that’s also similar to the way Celestia was unable to see how deeply Luna was suffering.
true but i do not think celestia viewed her as a villain when she left. mostly just lost.
Sunset Shimmer counts too. Not as a millenium-old threat, but as a former student of Celestia’s, she technically falls into the “cleaning up after Celestia” category.
to be fair it was only, what, three villains like that? and to be fair they thought they were rid of sombra.
i guess Tirek counts too, but they REALLY thought he was gone for good. tartarus seems to normally be about as good as death in keeping someone out of ya hair.
Someone else’s mess, but whose?
For once, Twilight Sparkle WON’T be tasked with cleaning up after Celestia and/or some millenium-old threat?
Maybe her spirit is in their amulets or something, and they’re channeling power to it in order to free her.
,but then where does Prismia (Cadance’s villain) come in? The dazzlers’ Ringleader? They copied her work and used their siren magic to help?
Her cutie mark and her horn.
On a separate note, ugh.
Wasn’t always there, but that’s something.
It actually may have been Cadance. Especially because the villain she defeated to get her cutie mark had the exact same power as the Dazzlings.
Rainbow Rocks was written by McCarthy in Summer 2013, after she had already adapted GM Berrow’s stories into the continuity of FiM.
But she already has one. That doesn’t need any more faffery.
Why sadly? Backstory makes Cadance slightly more interesting than just being Wife Horse.
Oh wait! And the mirror is located in the Crystal Empire! More evidence!
Sadly, I don’t think so.
They’re already going with the info in that book as the official thing.
Plus her being a siren or related to them would overcomplicate things.
Same here. It points more that she was the one who banished them.
Which brings to mind some interesting questions.
Are they related? It’s most likely they are since all four of them have magic pertaining to manipulating emotions.
And if so, does this mean Cadance was also a “siren pony” before becoming an alicorn?
If this movie gives us Cadance’s origin, it just might make me watch it (not like I really can watch it in theaters where I live).
sigh
That is sadly the most likely guess placed thus far.
T’was the point, doodle. :P
Also I too won’t mind seeing the crystal rulers have s kid(s), I liked the cake twins.
