Not really, Applejack is overall the most good-natured pony out of the Mane Six. Just because you’re honest doesn’t mean she isn’t going to hate your guts if you’re an asshole.
Well, as the Element of Honesty she’d certainly be pissed at veiled bigotry, the stuff that tries to hide behind a facade of politeness. However, you’d think she’d at least have a grudging respect for the out-in-the-open “We Don’t Serve Your Kind In Here” message like the sign is saying.
Why? It’s totally in character for Applejack to get pissed at bigotry.
Maybe she just doesn’t understand the message, as she hasn’t been exposed to prejudice against non-ponies yet.
Mouthpiece tag is inaccurate. A mouthpiece is having a character or person espouse your views as their own. This is not what is happening in this comic.
