I usually get annoyed when some consider some antangonists ‘villains’ even when they’re on the good side just because they have a role going up against the main cast. Unless they consider the word ‘antangonist’ as villains from their view, I can accept that even when I prefer not to.

Although Trixie cosplaying as a villain from another series makes her really slick IMO.

thats is still stretching of the definition, they all acted according to their law. Every human being sometime act with malicious intend or with selfishness. Being altruist its not really a part of any animals nature

Here is the definition of the word “villain.”

||villain [vil-uhn]
noun

  1. a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime; scoundrel.

  2. a character in a play, novel, or the like, who constitutes an important evil agency in the plot.

    3. villein.||

    Either of the first two definitions could apply to Gilda, Trixie, and the Flim/Flam brothers. Consider that virtuous behavior is a wellspring of tangible and ecumenical power in the “Ponyverse.” If iniquitous behavior has similar potential to righteous behavior, then their categorization as villains is patent.

If Gilda, Flim&Flam and Trixie are villains then we should lock like 80% of internet users. Being a jerk is not equal to being a villain. There is need to be a bigger threat to a greater number of ponies or we may as well count “assertive” Fluttershy as villain
