The artist has every right to defend his original vision, and he wanted it removed from this site specifically.
I will continue to try to make commissioned art-pieces more acceptable to the community at wide, and the artists have every right to reject them, some of them cannot spare the effort and even thank me for it, some of them would rather this doesn’t happen.

I’m pretty sure someone well post it. And to be honest it doesn’t matter where it’s going to be posted, it’s eventually going to reach them anyway. This could have been handled better in my opinion. I found some of the edits to better myself.

If your actually going to edit this, I’m looking forward to it. OC tend to be really bad even more so when it’s a shitty self-insert. The overall art is good, but the OC and the obvious shield kills it. I’m hoping that you’ll do just a standard Anon or a more generic guy.

isn’t the “edit” tag only for other people editing the piece, and not for when the artist made two different versions of the piece?

I always make sure to keep the original tags and the artist credited, and I add a proper “edit” tag.
I’m not breaking any rules, and it won’t get me banned.
But if you insist on defending the original vision of your art (even if we hate its guts and love the edit infinitely more, you do have every right to defend your client, he’s the one that pays you after all) then I can just post it somewhere other than Derpibooru, don’t worry you’ll still get credited and source’d.
I never tag the edits I make under my own name, not to be OMG ANONOYMOOSE, we all know Admins and Mod can see right through that, but because I don’t deserve to have the same level (artist tag) as the original artist, I just make edits to make things less offending to anyone that isn’t the commissioner.
And before you get all angry and defensive, just remember, you didn’t exactly come up with Celestia or Luna either, you don’t see Mrs. Faust raging and threatening you with bans.
That said, keep up the good work, I’m a big fan of your drawings and this is a very well-made picture, my only objection is Superman’s face that could use a bit more extra work, it looks way too flat and looks nothing like the man of steel in the first place, the lighting and sudden shift in the style of shading also accentuates this some more.
I would call her pale lol.. her skin tone is slightly darker than Celestia skin ;p
for me this is perfect skin tones for both sisters (you know, sisters, same skin color, etc.). the dark/sunburned Luna … kinda meh for my tastes. Maybe if both sisters are dark/sunburned then this may look also nice.
