I know everyone’s sick of these “stereotypes,” but I just thought it was funny to see this on Miiverse. I’d play as that character personally. :P
FRIENDSHIP!
FRIENDSHIP!
I liked Game Gear Sonic 1, but I didn’t like GG Sonic 2, which was more frustrating. (Especially hang-gliding, as I said. Don’t even get me started on the “trial & error” Scrambled Egg Zone.)
I guess you’re right. Never figured out why they weren’t very interesting to me.
I don’t know they both had completely different levels/bosses actually, so I don’t really think they qualify as “ports.” Sonic 1 on Game Gear/Master System had a few new areas like the airship, and bridge zone. While Sonic 2 GG’s zones, were completely different from the 16-bit Genesis version. (Must add hang-gliding was a pain in that game.)
Regardless of reusing the same titles, they were actually completely different games. Interestingly, in both you didn’t have to go through bonus levels to get the chaos emeralds like most other Sonic games.
I made a mistake and confused Tails Adventure with TSP, meant the former one.
With ports I meant Sonic 1 and 2 compared to the Genesis versions, though maybe they’re not really ports seeing how the level design differs significantly, but they still try to recreate the originals to some extent.
I don’t know, what console ports were you talking about? Most of the ports of old Sonic games I’ve played were just as good as the original.
I think the Metroidvania-like “Tails Adventure” was the best Game Gear game personally, but Triple Trouble, and Sky Patrol were fun to.
Labyrinth was one of the better Sonic titles on GameGear. All the ports were pale shadows of their console counterparts and some of the original games were just bad like Blast.
I liked the idea of gameplay, the only problem with it is the difficulty curve is steep and it can get very frustrating later. But it was pretty much one of the three GG Sonic games I cared about, the other two being Sonic Triple Trouble and Tails Sky Patrol.
Me neither, I do like the “Final Smash” though.

I don’t know, but they did remove a comment PewDiePie made on the “Sonic Labyrinth” universe asking why anybody would like this game. (I liked Sonic Labyrinth personally, it was kinda interesting to have a game where you relied on the spindash.)
Seriously though what is moderation like on miiverse now apposed to how it started out?
I still don’t understand how a fandom born out of 4chan got hit with reddit’s stereotypes though.
The brony would be the best fighter. :P
