Yeah, unfortunately some younger people on DA don’t know the difference between DA, and a “Photobucket” site, and just upload whatever they want to it… (Not realizing it’s an ART site, and you’re only supposed to put your ART on it.) Or perhaps they think if they copy, and paste different images off of Google together in MSPaint then it’s “art.”
 
Ironically, I remember years back people used to get in trouble for uploading copyrighted images on their DA accounts, and it’s against the rules there. (Because artists can profit there.)
 
I must add, this image was back from an evening where some anons were bombarding the site with these kinda Sonic images. I guess they were upset about people on here bashing Sonic, or something, and trying to spam Derpibooru.

Sorry for bumping a 4 month old thread, but I really have to agree with you. One of the Sonic/MLP group on dA that I kinda frequent to has some people who keep spamming their copy and pasted “fanarts”, and that’s making me really sick.

Yes,I also understand your pain. The reason why I didn’t filter Sonic is because I am anticipating for some good Sonic/MLP fanart.

As a Sonic fan, I’m conflicted with that to… I wasn’t even aware there was this much “copy-and-paste” Sonic/Pony pseudo-fanart out there.
