I think Ego made Scoots a robo, Sweebs an augment, in order to keep up the three different ‘races’ thing from the original canon. That is to say, this worlds Applebloom is a full human, Sweebs is an Augment, and Scoots is a robot. In the show, AB is an earth pony (Human), Sweebs is a Unicorn (Augment), and Scoots is a Pegasus (Robot)

sorta! I’m kind of back in Moonstuck-territory here, where I have some stuff planned and the rest I’m making up on the fly. I, I did not expect this to turn into a thing and I’m still not quite over that, what happened
 
what I have in mind is a bit darker than other stuff I’ve done, by which I mean I wouldn’t give it to children under the age of 8, but it may scale up or down slightly depending on how it goes I guess!

Maybe the Elements of Harmony are are microchips with stored OS updates that upgrade the Robots existing functions. I’m not sure how Twi’s element would work since she’s human. Power armour?

I have a story for Scootaloo and Rainbow planned out; there’s a reason I made her the bot! :B (plus I really didn’t want to make Sweetie a robot just for the “lol sweetiebot!!” joke)

I feel it would have been more appropriate had Scoots been human/augmented human due to her lack of flight and tendency to get in harm’s way and Sweetie Belle been an android because Sweetie-Bot.

all the mane 6 work for Twilight and live in her lab. haven’t quite figured out how all the canon relationships will work just yet, but since they’re all specialized to help her with her research, they can’t do things like move out or take on jobs elsewhere yet. they might do the odd job or two as a favor; like, AJ might help the Apples move stuff and Rarity might make someone a dress because the sight of their peasant garb offends her, but essentially they’ve got full-time work already. they might be able to do more once their purpose has been served, but we’ll cross that bridge once it gets there I guess! I’m not too good at this making-stuff-up-as-it-goes thing. :( /tl;dr
 
also Sweetie is an augmented human (it’s hidden by her bowtie and hair). I liked them being one of each, so Scootaloo is full bot and Apple Bloom is full human. :D
 
(ALSO Scoots’ wings had a different design at first but once they were colored I realized they looked like carrots and I’m still mad. scootaloo I blame you for everything)
