The only times we ever see him in a good mood is when he’s:

A. Fighting an enemy who’s just as strong as him (i.e Goku)

B. Flaunting his superiority as far as both race and status (Both of which meaningless :U)

C. When Trunks does something that makes Vegeta proud (Like when he took out Hercule/Satan in one punch XD)
