It’s an interesting concept, I just think it was executed poorly.
And aside from that, the concept that it’s bad because of reaction images is honestly idiotic. Think about it. The idea that a story is bad because of additional fan creations (even if the original story was a fan creation) is just stupid.
Sure, let’s judge something by virtue of reactionary images as opposed to the story structure itself.
Again, I’m not necessarily defending TCB, but I will attack any idea that simply reaction images eliminate any worth a story may have had.
Because that’s just fucking ridiculous. C’mon, how many reaction images have all of you reposted at one point or another and just not cared?
It’s literally the same thing.
TCB still annoys me, btw. Just sayin’.
Or maybe you think it was ALWAYS bad, in my eyes, there are some good ones.

It’s not against TCB… it’s a good fanfic, IMHO, it’s funny think to ponies like xenophobic monster and it’s more hilarious think that the humanity could kick their flanks…

This isn’t bad because it’s “reactionary”, it’s bad because it’s stupid.

I’m not denying that, I’m just saying this reactionary HFY crap that’s all over the place is even worse.
TCB was always bad.
Millions died.
There are some good stories to be found, certainly.
It’s just that most of the shit is reactionary, rather than spun off from someone’s own personal interpretation.
Honestly, at this point the Conversion Bureau is terrible less because it’s bad in and of itself, but because of all the reactionary garbage it’s inspired.
Why can’t TCB just die?
