Her official description says “Has a hollow, transparent, glasslike body.” I took that to mean glass. But still, liquid is pretty heavy. Plastic’s a little lighter than glass.
She couod be plastic like a plastic bottle.

Of course not! Serris is arguing for thaumaturgical sense in a world filled with and possibly made of magic. And in that context, a soda-powered glass golem makes all kinds of sense.
